No. Indian passport holders can enter Singapore visa-free for up to 30 days. You need a valid passport, confirmed hotel booking and a return air ticket. Singapore is one of the easiest international destinations from India.
Singapore is a year-round destination with consistent warm weather (26–32°C). February to April tend to be drier. November and December see the northeast monsoon with afternoon showers, but these are brief. The Great Singapore Sale runs June–July and the Formula 1 Night Race is in September.
Singapore is excellent for Indian families — it is extremely clean, safe and child-friendly. Universal Studios, the Night Safari and S.E.A. Aquarium are world-class attractions. Indian restaurants, vegetarian options and halal food are available throughout the city. The MRT is easy to use with children.
Singapore is a premium destination, but not prohibitively so. Mid-range hotels start at SGD 150–200 per night. Hawker centre meals cost SGD 3–6. A trip to Singapore is comparable in cost to a Maldives or Europe trip, with far more to do.
